What is a piece of content that’s recently inspired you, and why?
Can’t come to the phone right now all the apps are blocked by Marta Carvalho on Substack. This article inspired me to use app blockers – doom scrolling is a bad habit so it’s a great idea. We should embrace boredom instead of scrolling on socials.

We could listen to an audio book, use the notes app, create lists, call a friend, read a book. Every time I do a digital detox, my mind is full of creative ideas. The amount of information we get from TikTok and Instagram is overwhelming, so I added a habit of blocking a few apps every week. I want to be more intentional with my consumption of social media. No more doom scrolling.

How do you balance the act of curating and creating in your day-to-day?
I found that I enjoy curating more than creating lately. Every time I read something interesting, listen to a really good podcast, watch a good movie or a video essay on YouTube – I find myself sharing it on socials. I share on X, on my weekly roundup posts on Substack, or in an Instagram story.

I’m inspired and I inspire others too – I found that people really enjoy content curation. Content creation only happens once a month.
What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone looking to refine their taste?
Read more books. Get inspiration from people you really admire (authors, actors) and learn from them. Make moodboards on Pinterest, save quotes. Find what you like and what you find appealing (colors, aesthetic, designs) and take notes. Just be yourself, because who knows you can be a muse to someone one day.
