Arca is the app that lets you explore the internet in a more intentional way. Think of it as your personal curation platform, where you can organize all the content you love—articles, podcasts, songs, TikToks, YouTube videos, essays, and more—into portals on your profile. It’s more than just bookmarking, its like building your own digital archive, where every piece adds context.
We built Arca because the internet has become overwhelming. Our feeds are ruled by algorithms, content creators and sponsored posts dominate feeds, and most of us have become passive scrollers. But not everyone wants to be a content creator, some of us just love collecting and sharing great stuff. That’s why Arca is designed for curators, not just creators.
Think about it: most of your favorite songs, books, or podcasts probably came from a friend’s recommendation. Arca brings that same personal touch to online discovery. You can see what your friends are into, explore their portals, and dive into their media diets—all without the pressure of likes or follower counts. We’ve stripped away the usual metrics of validation, no like buttons, no follower counts because what matters isn’t how many people “approve” of something, but whether it inspires or informs you.
We also made sure Arca takes you away from all the noise online. It feels impossible to find a place online with no ads or pop ups distracting you from actually being able to consume peacefully. With unique integrated features like “summary” and “reader mode” we make it possible to consume all content within the app without any distractions. Features like “notes” also let you reflect on the content and add your own commentary the post. We want to promote taking the time to consume and reflect on content. Making all interactions on Arca go beyond surface level.
How Does It Work? Using Arca is simple:

How Does It Work? Using Arca is simple:
·
Create portals based on topics or ideas—think "What to read" or "Digital Culture".
·
Add content by pasting a direct link or by pressing the “+” sign on an existing piece of content within the app.
·
Seamlessly balance curation and discovery—build your own portals while exploring what others are consuming.
Ultimately we created a place to save you time and mental energy online. Instead of juggling multiple apps, bookmarking links across different platforms, or endlessly scrolling in search of something worthwhile, Arca brings everything into one space. In today’s fast-paced digital landscape, where information overload is real, we reduce the mental effort needed to keep up. With Arca, you save time, stay organized, and bridge perspectives.
We’re also working on a unique discovery experience that will transform how you find and engage with content, but we’ll share more on that soon.
